Description of the agricultural harness.
Our harnesses are made of Biothane®, which makes maintenance easy. Only water and soap are needed, except for the breeching strap if it is made of leather (if the breeching strap is made of urethane, no special maintenance is required). All the hardware is stainless steel.
The only measurements needed are the following:

The advantage of the Conway buckles used here is that it is very easy to adjust the dimensions of the harness to fit the equine. The hardest part is making holes in the Biothane®!

Trace ring

Interest of the ring on the line holder!
😠 Warning, my supplier no longer makes these rings! I am replacing them with hooks attached to the line holders.

The crupper must be put in place, taking care not to trap any hair on the dock.

The “back-straps,” the straps connecting the trace ring to the hames of the collar, must be adjusted to the width of a hand.

The back pad or surcingle is placed behind the withers.

The girth strap must be one hand’s width from the elbow.

Above all, do not stretch it!

Look at the beautiful little chain of long guides!

This small accessory makes it possible to connect the two guides together, something ploughmen will appreciate!
